On Saturday, February 23 The Yellow Cab Tavern is excited to welcome the Blazing Gentlemen, performing the entirety of Guided By Voices’ classic album Do The Collapse 20 years later, along with a salty salute to other hits, live favorites and deep cuts. To mark the occasion, there will be an exclusive first-tapping of Branch & Bone Artisan Ales's "Hold on Hops," American Light Lager.
Doors open at 8pm, music starts at 9pm and tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the doors.
A salty salute to Dayton, Ohio's finest, Guided By Voices, performed loosely by a haggle of Northern Kentucky gentlemen. The outfit has performed at clubs around the Midwest and recently performed at the Polish Picnic Grounds for the fabled Heed Fest.

Do The Collapse
"Produced by Ric Ocasek of the Cars, the 16-song disc is definitely the most cohesive LP of GBV's long career. The duo are to be commended for focusing on GBV's strong points and bolstering them for maximum impact rather than trying to remake the band for alternative radio. By doing this, Pollard may have made the record that will break him on the airwaves. The record is big, but not without the quirks and obtuse songwriting that fans have come to love." - Don Thrasher - Impact Weekly
